Change the default app to open a .pdf, .docx, etc

It's the time of year again to file our taxes—at least for those who file in the USA.

Regardless, you might find this this email useful to learn about how to change the default application a file opens with. For example, changing the default application to open a .pdf from Adobe reader to Preview. You can apply this to almost any other file on your Mac.

Rather than writing a blog post with screen shots I am experimenting with a video that is attached to the bottom of this email where I demonstrate how to do this.

Depending on the response I will put more effort into the production. Either way, it's the content that matters right ?-)
